In order to achieve educational goals, all of the partners in the education mechanism should be interested, eager and continuous participants. Educational spaces and furniture as parts of these spaces support willingness, interest and continuity of the participants. With the help of original and suitable designs, it is possible to offer contemporary solutions and to improve educational spaces by meeting physical and emotional needs of the users. In this study, potential of original furniture designs is examined for education process. Within this perspective, needs of users from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts are analyzed, suitable furniture design projects are realized and impact of new designs are evaluated.
